What to expect at King’s Centre

What time do you start?

Our Sunday Service begins at 10.45am

Where is the church?

We are located at Union Road, Nether Edge, S11 9EH

Is there a car park?

We have two small car parks, however there is plenty of on-street space to park your cars in the surrounding areas. We ask that you be respectful of our neighbours by not parking in front of drives or parking cars on both sides of the road.

What should you expect?

As you enter the foyer you will be met by a member of our volunteer welcome team who will greet you. If you have a child, the children’s team will be wearing blue t-shirts and will sign your child into the appropriate age group. The team is really friendly and will point you in the right direction if you need! You can read more about our children’s groups here.

At KC our service follows the same pattern each week – a member of the team will welcome everybody, we will have a time of sung worship with the words on the screen so you can follow along, we will have a sermon that usually lasts between 20 and 30 minutes and there will be a chance to respond. Our children join us for the first few songs before being invited to go to their age groups. We always offer prayer for any aspect of life or for healing. Please come forward at the end of the service. After the service we have tea, coffee and biscuits in the downstairs hall.

What is Community Sunday?

On the 3rd Sunday of each month we don’t have a service at the King’s Centre. Instead we meet in our different communities. Why not check out our communities and try one out? Our communities are places of family where we can get to know God’s love more and reach out to the people around us. Find out more here or speak to a member of the welcome team on a Sunday.
